ORC4SHIP IN NEPTUNE GALENE

The ORC4SHIP was successfully installed in the Neptune Galene, during the programmed maintenance of the vessel. The installment followed the procedure that was described by the surveyors during the study that was preceded. The condenser of the ORC engine was connected to the seawater, using stainless steel piping, as presented in the following figures, while the frame of the engine was placed in the location defined by the study. All the installation works took place under the surveillance of the Neptune Galene engineers.

The report of the small-scaled testing of the ORC4SHIP engine that was conducted in the lab facilities of the Agricultural University of Athens is attached (available only in Greek) to support the ongoing research for the ORC engine performance.
